The VIBE

Values that matter

Trading is one of those industries everyone seems to have an opinion on, yet very few truly understand. Most people view it through the Hollywood lens of Wall Street—a world driven by adrenaline, impulse, and “instinct,” where everything revolves around quick cash and that one big score. Furthermore, traders are frequently confused with brokers, whose primary role is executing trades for clients. In reality, professional proprietary traders independently assume market risk, make their own trading decisions, and operate using their own or the firm’s capital.

Jason Berry, co-founder of Positive Equityjaa proprietary trading firm operating out of Croatia and Dublin—has spent years dismantling this exact perception of the industry through his track record and work philosophy. In Jack Schwager’s new book, Market Wizards: The Next Generation, one of the most seminal titles in the trading and investment world, Berry is featured as one of the 15 most prominent global traders of his generation. This selection is a massive industry accolade, proving that professionals from our regional business and finance ecosystem can compete on a global scale. Ahead of the book’s worldwide release, we sat down with “Mr. Consistency”—as he is dubbed in the book—to discuss what true performance actually looks like behind the closed doors of the trading industry.

You have surely paused at least once while scrolling through a feed filled with beautiful, Pinterest-worthy interiors — spaces that appear harmonious, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly styled. But behind every such space lies much more than just a good idea. It is precisely this often invisible side of the profession that the Business Know-How course addresses, as part of the Tu žive ljudi Masterclass program.

Its author, interior designer and founder of the Tu žive ljudi studio, Maja Mihovilović, came to realise early on through her own entrepreneurial experience that talent and a sense for space are not enough if they are not supported by a clear business structure.

In anticipation of the new Masterclass, which will take place on 20 March 2026 in Zagreb, we caught up with this inspiring interior designer between plans and on-site work to talk about the realities of running a studio, the pitfalls that await designers, and the business side of design.

When the impressions settle. When the emotions soften. When you wake up in the morning with a smile on your face—filled with gratitude and a sense of togetherness… Only then do you realize that one evening was so much more than just an event.

The Human Voice launch wasn’t a typical event. It was a gathering. An embrace. Joy in motion. A quiet sense of gratitude for everyone who believed—before anything became visible. It was a night when Human Voice was finally set free to live its dreams—to begin its own journey, guided by humanity, faith, and the values we hope to pass on to future generations.

We came together to celebrate the human being. Their story. Their courage. Their silence—the kind that holds the power to change the world.

For all of you who couldn’t be there—with us in spirit, whether known or unknown, felt through a wave of support and messages—we bring you a glimpse of that evening through video reports and a speech by our founder. We share it with you as it was spoken: honestly, humbly, and from the heart.

Enjoy…

The start of a new year is the traditional season for resolutions: getting back into a routine and reevaluating our relationship with our bodies and overall health. While many are scrambling to strike a balance between work, personal life, and endless to-do lists, Plank Studio has spent years offering a structured, sustainable approach to fitness—one that doesn’t demand perfection, but consistency.

Today, the brand is a staple of the local wellness scene, boasting a dedicated community across two Zagreb locations, nearly 20 Reformer machines, and a team of certified female trainers. We caught up with the studio’s founder, Patricia Ćurković Rogić, as she balanced training sessions, motherhood, and the demands of running a business. She had just returned from a Plank Retreat at Hotel Materra, where she spent a weekend with a group of clients focused on movement, recharging, and the power of community.

In an era where exercise is often tied to fleeting resolutions, seasonal body goals, and “quick fix” promises, Plank has always stood for something different: a deeper, more intentional relationship with the body.
