When the impressions settle. When the emotions soften. When you wake up in the morning with a smile on your face—filled with gratitude and a sense of togetherness… Only then do you realize that one evening was so much more than just an event.
The Human Voice launch wasn’t a typical event. It was a gathering. An embrace. Joy in motion. A quiet sense of gratitude for everyone who believed—before anything became visible. It was a night when Human Voice was finally set free to live its dreams—to begin its own journey, guided by humanity, faith, and the values we hope to pass on to future generations.
We came together to celebrate the human being. Their story. Their courage. Their silence—the kind that holds the power to change the world.
For all of you who couldn’t be there—with us in spirit, whether known or unknown, felt through a wave of support and messages—we bring you a glimpse of that evening through video reports and a speech by our founder. We share it with you as it was spoken: honestly, humbly, and from the heart.
Enjoy…
This speech was written a few months ago. I saw this moment. You standing in front of me. And myself here on this stage. That’s why I chose to share it with you tonight exactly as it was written…
This is a story about a voice that has quietly spoken within me my whole life—setting my compass, guiding me through calm waters and restless seas. A voice that has been present within me for more than three decades.
As long as I can remember, people told me I was a loud child. A child who knew what she wanted. A child who knew how to stand up for herself. While other children played superheroes, I searched for mine in the audience… I would organize my own imaginary shows—hosting fashion runways, festivals, and even my own “Seventh Nights” on the steps of our old house. My first real audience came on a warm summer night, on the terrace of our family home, in front of people walking on pilgrimage to Međugorje. Those first ovations, for a little girl holding a glowing microphone, meant everything.
They taught us honesty, family values, and faith as the most important foundation in life, and that being a good person is the most important guiding principle. They taught us to care for one another, to share, and to raise each other—I am, after all, one of five children. For my mother, what mattered most was that we were healthy, that I studied well so I could enroll at a university in Zagreb, graduate on time, and find a job—ideally a government one, from nine to five… And that was the voice I listened to.
Coming to Zagreb meant speaking up more boldly—bringing people together and advocating for our Herzegovinian roots. That’s where I made my first bigger appearances on stage. I learned from the generations before me—who did it masterfully. That’s also where I first actively stepped into the world of media. I promoted. I organized. And I learned what true, genuine togetherness really means.
Within the large system of a government agency, I wrote my first major stories. My role was to promote programs, initiatives, and funds—but I always chose to focus on people, on those who showed through their own example that success in Croatia is possible. I shared stories of young entrepreneurs who, from a small country, were making their mark on the global stage… I wanted to show the world the talent Croatia lives and breathes every day. I believe that even then, I was slowly becoming a quiet ambassador of Croatian entrepreneurship—and later, through my doctoral dissertation, an official voice of Croatian innovation on the global stage.
My dearest voice. The one that carries the greatest joy. The one I return to when everything falls silent. The one that stays with me in the quiet, even when I walk alone.
Two little angels made me the happiest person on earth—braver and stronger. Through them, I learned what unconditional love truly means, and what it looks like when someone genuinely rejoices in your success. To this day, they are my biggest supporters.
It took a long time for that voice to become mine. Even though entrepreneurship was always part of our life around the family table, it was never my favorite. All my life, I listened to stories about loans, inspections, holidays we rarely took, and constant questions about how long we would be working on any given holiday. We were rarely all together at the table—someone always had to be on call to cover a shift. That kind of life plants a natural resistance in you toward running your own business—the kind that knows no weekends, no holidays.
But encouraged by the wonderful people around me, I decided to look at entrepreneurship from a different perspective. And to follow my own entrepreneurial voice—the one that had clearly always been within me. The one that led me to create and grow, along new paths that were entirely my own.
Today, through Human Voice, I’ve given my dreams a voice. The first video magazine in the region—my voice to the world—a voice of untold stories, aspirations, great dreams, and even greater achievements. Tonight, I want it to become even stronger—a bold movement of goodness. A celebration of everything that has already been prepared for us above, often more beautiful than anything we could have ever imagined.
And finally tonight—the loudest voice of all…
All of you here tonight are here for a reason. Thank you for listening to my voice. Thank you for being a voice of support, unconditionally. For celebrating my achievements as if they were your own. For courageously walking with me on this carousel of life.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for dreaming big dreams together with me…
